It started with one car in a driveway on Holbrook Lane.
Gideon founded OTR Detailing in 2024 with nothing but a pressure washer, a couple of microfibre cloths, and his own scruffy Ford Fiesta as a test subject. He'd always been the friend who couldn't get in a messy car without wanting to clean it — crumbs in the door pockets, dust on the dash, it all bothered him. What started as detailing his own car every weekend turned into detailing his mates' cars, then their parents' cars, then strangers finding him on Instagram.
The name says it all: On The Road, Off The Showroom Clean. Gideon believed a proper detail shouldn't mean queuing at a car wash or dropping your car off for a day — it should come to you, wherever you are, and give you a result that looks like it just rolled off the forecourt.
