OTR Detailing ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile vehicle detailing service operating in Coventry and the surrounding areas. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website, our booking process, and our Instagram page.

We collect information you give us directly, including:

• Your name, phone number, email address and the address where a booking will take place.
• Details about your vehicle (make, model, colour, size) so we can bring the right equipment.
• Any notes or access instructions you choose to add to a booking.
• Messages sent through our contact form.

Card payments are taken by Stripe on our behalf. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us — we only receive confirmation that the payment succeeded.

3How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Arrange, confirm and manage your booking, including contacting you about appointment times.
• Respond to enquiries sent via our contact form or social media.
• Keep basic records of past bookings for scheduling and customer service purposes.
• Improve our services based on feedback and reviews.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4Legal Basis For Processing

Where UK data protection law applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Contract — to take the steps you request before entering into a booking, and to perform that booking.
• Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries and maintain reasonable business records.

5Cookies & Local Storage

Our website only uses essential storage: to hold your slot while you pay, to keep the owner's admin area signed in, and cookies set by Stripe during checkout for fraud prevention. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

6Who Processes Your Data For Us

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the website and bookings:

• Supabase — securely stores booking and enquiry details (hosted in the EU).
• Stripe — processes card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments.
• Email provider — sends booking confirmations and passes contact-form messages to us.
• GitHub Pages — hosts the website itself.
• Google Fonts & Google Maps — display our typefaces and coverage map.

Each provider only receives what it needs to do its job and is bound by its own privacy and data-protection terms.

7Data Retention

We keep booking and enquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to provide our services, deal with any follow-up questions, and meet our accounting or legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see your rights below.

8Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Ask us to delete your information.
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information.
